Sonic Spindash Role-Playing • Main

Welcome! Sonic Spindash RP is a community devoted to text-based Sonic the Hedgehog forum role-playing. Our RP is primarily story-oriented and continuous (all threads are different parts of one overarching story), focusing on character interaction and interesting, free-flowing plots that we try to make as accessible and open as possible. We're not exclusive, and we try not to be too cliquey, so anyone who's interested in relaxed-paced, literate Sonic RP is welcome to join.

Our setting is in the world of the main Sonic video game series, and is typically set some time after whatever the most recent game is. The story is very "adventure" oriented, and while it does have fighting involved, little of it is competitive. It's purely there to drive the story and be entertaining, so there is no pointless, non-story-related combat anywhere (no "sparring" in other words). Furthermore, we try to foster a non-hostile, common-sense RP environment that isn't weighed down by weird or hard-to-learn game-like rules.

Original characters are welcome in our RP (as long as they're actually reasonably original!) and heavily used in the story. You don't have to be one of the folks playing an official Sonic character to be "important" here, in other words.
